Okay, so recently I was watching a bunch of parody music videos as I often do when I'm depressed (I don't know why I was depressed. It was just one of those blah days, you know?). And usually, I'll watch the parody video, then go back and watch the real one to see why it's funny. Well one of my favorite parody music video makers - VenetianPrincess - made a parody of Miley Cyrus' song "When I Look at You" called "You'll look like poo" It made me laugh, because it showed how much she whores off her merchandise. It made me smile. But the title "When I Look at You" made me think about reconsidering my views of Miley. So I looked up the video. It was going okay, and I was beginning to kinda not hate her. THEN the chorus came. My ears are still burning. Seriously, what is it about her SCREECHING that people find worthy of so much praise??? WTF???? NOW I remember WHY I HATE HER SOOOO MUCH!!!!!!! I hate that she can't sing, yet she's making so much money when people who have REAL talent (like plenty of my friends) are ignored. It pisses me off! GRRRRR!!!!!!!! OKay, I'm done making fun of her voice. Now her lyrics. In the bridge, SHE STOLE TWO LINES FROM OTHER PEOPLE!!!!!! Now, I'm not saying that people can own words, but seriously. "Kaleidoscope of colors" - Aly and A.J., Chemical's React. "Don't you know you're beautiful" - Kellie Pickler, Don't You Know You're Beautiful. Again, I know Aly and A.J and Kellie Pickler don't own these lines, but I have a really strong feeling that Miley - or should I say her writers - just ran out of originality and started listening to songs from other people. Even in the tune! When she says - or should I say when she attempts to sing - "That's when I, I, I look at you" the tune is almost EXACTLY like that song "How Great Is Our God" And i realize this probably isn't her fault since she probably does NOT write her own lyrics. So now, I will be mad at HER in general. What's with her face???? Why must she scrunch it up like that when she's screeching? Seriously, isn't it enough you've killed our ears? NOw you're going for our eyes? WHAT MORE CAN YOU TAKE FROM US YOU HO??!! ...maybe I went to far... but I don't think so >.> And I realize no one will probably care about tis - I don't even care about this - but I wanted to vent... Kay, I'm done BYE!!!!
